During my recent Christmas stay at Hotel Madira in Myitkyina with a couple of fellow adventurers, I was pleasantly surprised by its inviting ambiance. Our large, quiet room at the back provided a comfortable retreat, perfect for unwinding after our daily excursions. I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s effortless convenience, featuring both a lift and generous parking space, which made our arrival hassle-free. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby were a delightful touch, allowing us to recharge while we tackled the poor Wi-Fi connectivity in our room. The breakfast spread, full of local flavors, was ample but served a tad cold; however, the atmosphere remained warm and welcoming, thanks to the polite staff. the nearby Indian restaurant was a real gem, making it a perfect culinary companion to our stay. Hotel Madira is indeed a splendid choice for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience in Myitkyina.
